Meet Our Team

Rockville Centre NY Dental StaffLiz

I've been working for Dr. Rutman since 1986. My main function is to keep the office running smoothly. I work chairside and also work at the front desk. I'm the mother of 3 daughters.

I believe: "Do good and good will come your way, be kind to others and they will be kind to you."

Rockville Centre NY Dental StaffEllen

My name is Ellen and I am a dental hygienist in Dr. Andrew Rutman's office.  Dr. Rutman and I have been working together since 1984.

One of my responsibilities is taking care of our patient's oral hygiene.  This includes checking their periodontal health, a thorough cleaning consisting of scaling, root planning and polishing.  Good oral hygiene is very important for a person's general health.  I teach the patients how to maintain good oral hygiene and encourage this on a daily basis.  I attend annual continuing education courses which keep my skills current and benefits our patients.

I love my work.

Since 2004, I've been sitting side-by-side with Dr. Rutman.

My favorite part of my job is meeting and getting to know the patients. I know first hand what a gentle and caring dentist he is.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooklyn College.  I'm the proud mother of 3 grown children.  I've just become a "nana" to my brand new grandson!
